Fans have naturally been interested in Bad Bunny’s personal life as the Puerto Rican rapper has skyrocketed to massive fame. But curiosity reached a fever pitch when it was first reported he was dating Kendall Jenner in 2023. That same year, Bunny told Vanity Fair that he’s “not interested” in talking publicly about his love life, probably because of how much speculation there was about his relationship with Jenner.
It seems as though the two have now split for good. But here’s what we know about his relationship with the reality star and his other long-term connections.

Carliz De La Cruz Hernández: 2011-2017
When Bad Bunny’s star began rising, he was in a long-term relationship with lawyer Carliz De La Cruz Hernández. The former couple met at University of Puerto Rico as students and even worked at the same grocery store in the town of Arecibo. They were reportedly engaged in January 2016, according to the Associated Press. But they split up by May of that year when their paths diverged: Bunny was signed to record label Rimas Music while she headed to the University of Puerto Rico’s law school. They reconciled briefly in 2017, but then called it quits for good.
Gabriela Berlingeri: 2017-2022
DiciembreVeintinueve (D29) jewelry designer Gabriela Berlingeri started seeing the rapper in 2017, and they had an on-off relationship through 2022. In a May 2020 interview with Rolling Stone, Bunny said he met Berlingeri in Puerto Rico after a Zion and Lennox concert.
“I met her at some restaurant, while I was eating with my parents and my brothers,” he said. “We started talking, and from there, we continued to see each other.”
He added, “I am happy with her...[People] don’t know she has helped me a lot in emotional aspects when I needed it the most...Do people really think I’m spending quarantine alone? No! I am with someone; she is very special in my life. This quarantine has made me understand that she is the best companion I could have.”
He also told the publication that he and Berlingeri worked on the song “Te Gusté” together, which he recorded with Jennifer Lopez.
“Nobody knows this, but when I did [‘Te Gusté’], the song with J.Lo, Gabriela recorded references for J.Lo's vocals,” he said.
The couple were first photographed together three years later, attending a Miami Heat basketball game in February 2020. Their first official red carpet appearance was in September 2021 at the Premios Billboard de la Musica Latina.
And in November, they were photographed at the 22nd Annual Latin Grammy Awards in Las Vegas.
In August 2020, Gabriela was seen wearing a diamond on her ring finger, in a video recorded by Bunny himself, sparking marriage rumors. He shut it down in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, saying, “No, I’m not that married,” before discussing the possibility of being engaged.
“Maybe it can be that,” he teased. “But I think that weddings and get[ting] married scare me. A lot.”
After that, Berlingeri made several appearances in music videos and on the rapper’s social media accounts. Her vocals were featured on his 2022 song “El Apagón”:

In August 2022, Bad Bunny was spotted at a club kissing an unnamed woman who was definitely not Berlingeri. Presumably they split but never made an announcement about it. In January 2023, he did seem to attend her birthday party, so they may have remained friends.
Kendall Jenner: 2023-2024
Reports that Bunny was dating The Kardashians star Kendall Jenner began circulating in early 2023 when Instagram gossip account DeuxMoi alleged they’d been seen canoodling in “a private club” in Los Angeles.
Sources speaking to People stated that the pair had been “spending time together.”
“Kendall recently started hanging out with him,” a second insider said. “They were introduced by friends. He moved to L.A. a few weeks ago and bought a house. She likes him and is having fun. He is different from guys that she dated in the past. He is very charming.”
By late February, a source told Entertainment Tonight that things might be more serious, adding, “Kendall and Bad Bunny are attracted to each other and definitely have a flirty vibe. It is still new, but they’re enjoying each other’s company and like each other. They have mutual friends and had dinner with Hailey, Justin, and friends at Wally’s in Beverly Hills on Saturday night. It’s been fun for both of them so far.”
There were more and more sightings, with photographs coming out in April of them leaving popular celebrity hotspot Carbone together and getting into the same car.
In a more high-profile moment, they were seen leaving a hotel for a Met Gala after-party, looking very chic.
But they didn’t pose for official photos at a public event until September 2023 when they sat front row at a Gucci show in Milan.
This seemed to be a part of their Gucci luggage campaign together.
A few months later, breakup rumors surfaced because they hadn’t been seen together in a while. In November, Jenner posted a cryptic Instagram with the caption: “what’s meant for me, will simply find me.”
In mid-December, People confirmed it was over.
A source additionally told Entertainment Tonight, “Kendall and Bad Bunny have been doing their own things lately, and things slowly started to fizzle out between them. They both knew going into this that it likely wouldn’t be a forever type of relationship, and that was mutually understood from the get-go. They have crazy busy schedules and know they’re still young and have a lot more to experience individually before settling down.”
However, they were seen in Barbados over the new year with a group of friends, according to TMZ. The same publication said in February 2024 that Jenner might be seeing her ex-boyfriend Devin Booker again.
