It's back! Where to find West Palm Beach's award-winning GreenMarket this summer.

Well, buck up little campers, city officials have announced that the award-winning market will be taking advantage of late sunsets and (teensy bit) cooler evenings by returning for several encores from May 9 through June 27 in the form of The Mini.

The slightly scaled down versions of the Saturday markets will feature nearly 50 vendors and will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday nights in conjunction with Clematis by Night.

These vendors will include: A Kitchen DB, ASKA Sweets, Authentic Korean Kitchen, Bonsai Operations Inc., Brooklyn Cupcake, Bubbly Boba Bubble Tea, Carnahan East Coast Events, CasaPan Healthy Artisan Breads, Coconut Bar, Delectably Wild Infusions, Edible Spreadable, Falinda Organics, FarmerBoxmeal, Florida Man Pet Treats, The Green Bar, Heavenly Soap Company, Independent Seafood, Izzy's Bakery, Kcee Nursery, La Gringuita, Le Petit Pain, Let It Grow, Liquid Gold Honey, Little Torch Candle Company, Macaroner, Mama Chana, Mondepice spices and teas, Marek’s Authentic Polish Food, MyExoticFruits, Native Armor, Nisha's Flavors of India LLC, Okeechobee Farms' Farm Store, One World Zero Waste, Pasta Amore gourmet food, Pepes Hey Babe, Poblano South, Sassy Sauce, Seaside Smoothie, SMAKattack, llc, Soap Dudes Soap Co., The Cheese Shoppe, The Pink Shell and The Stand by Palmtrees & Popcorn.

Yuka Terry, from New York City, selects ears of corn for her toddler during the final West Palm Beach GreenMarket of the season on April 20, 2024. "It's way better than what's in New York," Terry said when asked of her impression of the city's green market.

“The West Palm Beach GreenMarket is one of our most popular events,” said West Palm Beach Mayor Keith A. James. “At the heart of the GreenMarket is a strong sense of community and community support. So much so that vendors and marketgoers are sad when we must pause for summer. As such, we’ve heard everyone’s feedback, and we are excited to bring back The Mini, our summer version of our award-winning GreenMarket.”

Picture this: It's 6 p.m. Thursday night, the late spring and early summer temps have cooled a bit, the mood is festive with live music, the crowd is grooving and some of your favorite vendors are dishing out serious goodness. Whether you've come for the fresh-and-healthy or devilishly decadent, it's all there and within sight of the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway.

Time to enjoy the market which topped the USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice for best farmers market in the nation for three years in a row, and grabbed the number two spot this year. (Yes, the West Palm Beach GreenMarket got a shock when it was bested by Worthington Farmers Market in Worthington, Ohio this year. But that's in Ohio. Who's going there for the summer?)

Enjoy it that status for now Worthington, the full-size West Palm Beach GreenMarket will be back on October 5 and definitely will be looking to retake the crown!
