Joey’s ‘Bachelor’ Winner May Have Accidentally Given Herself Away

It's nearly the end of Joey Graziadei's season of The Bachelor. The tennis pro has just two ladies left: Daisy Kent and Kelsey Anderson. And in tonight's finale special, he must decide which of them he wants to marry.
But, as Bachelor aficionados know, spoilers for his winner are available (and inevitable). According to Reality Steve, Joey's fiancée will be Kelsey. As of his March 25 podcast episode, that spoiler still stands.
But that wasn't Steve's original prediction. That's right: The blogger originally shared that Daisy was Joey's betrothed, before changing his mind a few weeks ago. Drama!
So, did *actually* Joey pick Kelsey? And are they still together? Here’s everything we know, based on spoilers and internet sleuthing.
Who does Joey pick?
If you read spoilers to this at the beginning of the season, heads up: They’ve now changed. While Reality Steve initially had Daisy as Joey’s top pick, he’s since revealed that spoiler was wrong. Instead, Kelsey is Joey’s final choice.
There was some serious drama behind this, and it all started on Feb. 21 when the Instagram account @bachelornation.scoop shared evidence that was previously posted on Reddit that Joey and Kelsey may be staying in the same safe house. (A safe house is where Bachelor couples go to meet up and spend QT together while the show is airing so they don’t give away the ending.)
Reddit sleuths used photos from a previous safe house and compared pictures from Joey and Kelsey’s recent Instagram posts to tie it all together which, wow. Reality Steve pushed back on the findings for a while before finally conceding that he was wrong.
Kelsey appears to be the winner—a fact seemingly confirmed by former Bachelorette star Jason Tartick. Earlier this month, while Jason was teasing upcoming guests for his podcast, Trading Secrets, he shared that he will be interviewing Joey and Kelsey Anderson in the future. That’s a pretty strong signal that Kelsey won—and people jumped all over it.
Jason has since pulled all mentions of Joey and Kelsey from his podcast, but Reddit nabbed the original mention. So it seems like all signs are pointing towards a happy couple.
What is the 'unprecedented' season ending?
The Bachelor producers have been teasing an “unprecedented” season finale which, yeah, viewers have heard that before. But this time, it actually seems to be true.
According to Reality Steve, it all kicks off during Daisy's final one-on-one date, when she realizes that Joey's heart is with Kelsey. So, she goes to see Kelsey (which has never happened before on the show) and tells her that Joey is going to pick Kelsey.
“After Daisy’s last date with Joey, she realizes it’s not her,” Steve says. “So she goes to Kelsey’s room and essentially tell her, ‘It’s not me, it’s you, and I’m gonna tell him that tomorrow.’”
In the finale, Daisy shows up first (as is customary with the runner-up) and tells Joey she knows she’s not The One. According to Steve, the breakup was “positive.”
Are Joey and Kelsey engaged?
After all that, Reality Steve says that Kelsey arrives and she and Joey get engaged.
"Joey is engaged to Kelsey A. and has been since filming ended,” Reality Steve says. "He had never picked Daisy and he’s been with Kelsey the whole time.”
Since filming wrapped, Joey has also spoken up about the first moment he fell for his fiancée.
"You go back to the last time she really started expressing things, almost back to Montreal," he told Us Weekly after filming the Women Tell All special. "We were going a lot of off feelings, but there wasn’t really words being exchanged, so I did hold it in for a while. We both agree [that] when she was falling in Montreal, I was falling too… I never said it to her because I wanted to be intentional with my words.”
Joey later confirmed his feelings during their second one-on-one in Jasper, adding it was when he "truly knew that I was falling in love with her."
And, given Jason’s teaser, it looks like Joey and Kelsey are still together. Congrats!
