It's hard to believe that The Bachelor TV franchise began allllll the way back in 2002, with The Bachelorette premiering in 2003. Since then, there have been spin-offs galore, including Bachelor in Paradise, Bachelor Pad, and The Bachelor Winter Games.

But the *OG* Bachelors and Bachelorettes will always have a place in our hearts, and in pop-culture history. And for true Bach superfans, just like how you'll never forget any of the show's leads, you'll never forget their casting photos either, right? Those glamour shots from the show's promotional materials are absolute *gold*. To be honest, you may not even recognize some of the stars compared to how they look now!

Sean Lowe

Sean was the 17th Bachelor in 2013. He got engaged to Catherine Giudici, and they married in January 2014. The Dallas-based couple share three kids together. Over the years, Sean has appeared on a handful of other reality shows, including Dancing With the Stars. He's also stayed involved with the franchise, most recently offering up advice to Bachelor Zach Shallcross on season 27.

Ali Fedotowsky (Ali Manno)

Ali was the sixth Bachelorette in 2010. Though she accepted a proposal from Roberto Martinez, they broke up in November 2011. She went on to marry radio personality Kevin Manno in 2017, and the couple has two children. Ali also runs a lifestyle blog focusing on motherhood, cooking, and home decor—check out photos of her monochromatic house on Instagram.

Andi Dorfman

The 10th Bachelorette in 2014, Andi accepted a proposal from Josh Murray, but they split in January 2015. Andi has since written two books: It’s Not Okay, released in 2016, and 2018's Single State of Mind.

In March 2022, she got engaged to Blaine Hart, and the pair moved to Greenville, South Carolina. They plan on tying the knot in 2023, with Andi sharing some sneak peeks of how wedding dress shopping has been going with fans.

Arie Luyendyk Jr.

The 22nd season's Bachelor proposed to Becca Kufrin—but famously wound up changing his mind, breaking it off, and proposing to his original runner-up, Lauren Burnham, instead. Arie and Lauren married and had their first child, daughter Alessi, in 2019. Two years later, they moved to Hawaii and welcomed twins Senna and Lux. The couple posts vlogs about their daily life on YouTube.

Ashley Hebert

As the seventh Bachelorette in 2011, Ashley got engaged to J.P. Rosenbaum. They married in December 2012 and had two children together. Ashley also works as a pediatric dentist.

In 2019, they revealed that J.P. was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome. “He is in treatment and doing well. It may be a long road to full recovery, but we are so grateful to everyone that has helped us get to a speedy diagnosis and treatment,” Ashley told Us Weekly. The pair finalized their divorce two years later, but have remained on good terms. Since then, she's dated food blogger Yanni Georgoulakis.

Becca Kufrin

Becca was the 14th Bachelorette in 2018, accepting a proposal from Garret Yrigoyen. While they split in September 2020, she found her happy ending with another franchise alum on Bachelor in Paradise: Thomas Jacobs. In May 2022, Becca revealed that she proposed to him, writing, "HE SAID YES!" Later that year, Thomas planned another proposal of his own, and they've since bought their first house together in San Diego. Aw!

DeAnna Pappas (DeAnna Stagliano)

DeAnna was one of the contestants to be turned down by Brad Womack in The Bachelor's 11th season. When she returned as the fourth Bachelorette in 2008, she accepted a proposal from Jesse Csincsak, but they broke up.

She married Stephen Stagliano in 2012, and they split after 11 years of marriage in January 2023. "We remain loving parents to our beautiful children, Addison and Austin, and will continue to raise them together with love and faith," she wrote on Instagram.

Emily Maynard (Emily Maynard Johnson)

The eighth Bachelorette in 2012, Emily accepted a proposal from Jef Holm (they eventually broke up). She married Tyler Johnson in June 2014. Two years later, she wrote the book I Said Yes: My Story of Heartbreak, Redemption and True Love. She and Tyler live in North Carolina with their six children. In 2022, she revealed her youngest son was diagnosed with Down syndrome. "While it was certainly a surprise, we have so much peace in God’s perfect plan and know Jones is going to be a blessing to our family," Emily wrote on Instagram.

Jason Mesnick

Jason was the 13th Bachelor in 2009. Though he proposed to Melissa Rycroft during the finale, he revealed during the After the Final Rose special that he'd rather be with runner-up Molly Malaney.

Jason and Molly married in February 2010, and the couple runs a real estate business together. They currently live outside Seattle, Washington and have a daughter named Riley, in addition to Jason's son Ty.

Andrew Firestone

Andrew Firestone (as in, the Firestone tires family) was the third Bachelor in 2003, and he proposed to Jen Schefft. They broke up months later, and he married Ivana Bozilovic in 2008. They share three kids, Brooks, Anja, and Shane. The businessman continues to make public appearances as an emcee and lives in Santa Barbara, California.

Jen Schefft (Jen Schefft Waterman)

Jen was the third Bachelorette after being proposed to by Andrew Firestone in The Bachelor season 3. Choosing contestant Jerry Ferris on The Bachelorette, she turned down his proposal and they eventually broke up after the show.

She married Joe Waterman in 2009, and the couple lives in Ohio with their two daughters. The former reality star also launched a podcast called From The Bachelor to the Burbs.

JoJo Fletcher

JoJo was the 12th Bachelorette in 2016, accepting a proposal from Jordan Rodgers. The pair tied the knot in May 2022 at the Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, California. The couple has continued to pursue TV careers, including co-hosting the one-season home reno show Cash Pad and the dating reality series The Big D.

Kaitlyn Bristowe

As the 11th Bachelorette in 2015, Kaitlyn accepted a proposal from Shawn Booth, but they broke up in the summer of 2018. She's built a successful career since, including hosting the podcast Off the Vine and winning Dancing with the Stars in 2020.

In 2021, she co-hosted seasons 17 and 18 of The Bachelorette alongside Tayshia Adams, and got engaged to Bachelor alum Jason Tartick. "Happy 4 years of being blessed with this Beautiful, Crazy Queen," he wrote on Instagram in January 2023.

Nick Viall

The 21st Bachelor in 2017 after stints on two seasons of The Bachelorette, Nick and Vanessa Grimaldi ended their engagement shortly after the show. He founded an essential oils company called Natural Habits, and also hosts a fan-favorite podcast called Viall Files. In late 2022, he released his advice book Don't Text Your Ex Happy Birthday. A few months later, Nick popped the question to longtime girlfriend Natalie Joy.

Lorenzo Borghese

A legit Italian prince, Lorenzo was the ninth Bachelor back in 2006. He gave his final rose to Jennifer Wilson, and they dated for a few months before breaking up.

Lorenzo then dated runner-up Sadie Murray; they split in 2007. In 2012, he went on Celebrity Big Brother U.K. Since then, he’s started his own beer company, South Beach Brewing Company, and is also a huge animal rights advocate.

Jesse Palmer

As the fifth Bachelor back in 2004, Jesse presented his final rose to Jessica Bowlin, though they didn't wind up engaged. Jesse went on to have a successful hosting career with ESPN and ABC. He got engaged to Emely Fardo in 2019, and wed one year later.

Nowadays, you can catch him hosting The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise. “Hosting these shows, you wear a lot of different hats," he explained to TV Insider.

Meredith Phillips

Meredith was the second Bachelorette in 2004. She accepted a proposal from Ian McKee, but they broke up. While she remains a pretty private person (with barely any Instagram posts!), BachelorNation.com revealed that she is now married to her high school sweetheart, Michael Broady. In 2008, she published The Date Night Cookbook.

Travis Stork

The eighth Bachelor on the show in 2006, Travis gave his final rose to Sarah Stone, but they broke up soon afterward. As an M.D. himself, he hosted the popular show The Doctors for 12 years. He married Charlotte Brown in 2012, divorcing after three years of marriage in 2015.

In 2016, Travis started dating Parris Bell, and they married in August 2019. They share two children together.

Peter Weber

An alum of The Bachelorette season 15, Peter's season 24 Bachelor drama was another doozy. While he'd proposed to Hannah Ann Sluss on the show, they broke up soon afterward, and he and runner-up Madison Prewett admitted to having feelings for each other in the After the Final Rose special. He's since moved on with yet another contestant from his season, Kelley Flanagan.

Aaron Buerge

Banker Aaron was the second-ever Bachelor in 2002; he and finalist Helene Eksterowicz broke their engagement weeks later. He married Angye McIntosh in 2009.

“My wife Angye and our two younger daughters live in Springfield, Missouri. Our oldest daughter lives in Kansas City. This has definitely been a busy year for us!” Aaron told Us Weekly. “We just finished building our home and merged our family owned bank with Legacy Bank and Trust here in Springfield. We have been incredibly blessed.”

Alex Michel

Alex was the inaugural Bachelor in 2002, choosing an exclusive relationship with contestant Amanda Marsh. He’s flown pretty under-the-radar ever since, though he had a stint as a spokesperson for Match.com.

“I heard he’s married and I saw pictures of him and his children,” Amanda told Us Weekly's Here for the Right Reasons podcast in July 2020. “And [they’re] beautiful. I’m so happy for him.” According to his LinkedIn, he lives in the Washington, D.C., area and works as a business consultant.

Trista Rehn (Trista Sutter)

Trista vied for Alex Michel’s love on the first-ever season of The Bachelor. She went on to become the first Bachelorette in 2003, and got engaged to firefighter Ryan Sutter. They wed (on TV, of course!) in 2003 and are still married today. They live in Colorado and have two kids.

Andrew Baldwin

Andrew was the 10th Bachelor in 2007. He and contestant Tessa Horst called off their engagement after the finale and ultimately broke up a few months later.

In 2019 he told Us Weekly that he was still single and lived in San Diego (his Instagram is private). “I’m a commander in the U.S. Navy, a family physician, and director of medical readiness for U.S. Pacific Fleet," he shared.

Ben Flajnik

Ben was the Bachelor on season 16. He proposed to Courtney Robertson, and their on-again, off-again relationship ended in 2012. Since then, he’s started a wine company called Ion Wines, as well as a distillery called Fernet Francisco. In 2021, he released a children's book, Frequent Flyers, which he originally wrote for his niece during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Ben Higgins

As the 20th Bachelor in 2016, Ben and then-fiancee Lauren Bushnell starred in their own reality series, Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After? The couple split in May 2017. He also had a short stint on The Bachelor: Winter Games in 2018.

Ben founded coffee company Generous Coffee. He also hosts the Hope Still Wins podcast as well as The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast with fellow show alum Ashley Iaconetti Haibon. In 2021, he wed longtime girlfriend Jessica Clarke. "We practiced our dance many times in our kitchen and will continue to practice even after our wedding for as many years as we have left," he wrote on Instagram.

Bob Guiney

The fourth Bachelor presented a promise ring to Estelle Gardinier at the end of his season, but they broke up shortly after the show. Bob married soap opera actress Rebecca Budig soon after, but they divorced in 2010 after six years of marriage.

Married to Jessica Canyon since 2016, they share two sons together. “I still do ton of hosting for different live events and I go back and forth to New York twice a month to be on the Today show. Life is going very well. Thanks to the show, I’ve had such amazing opportunities come my way,” he told Us Weekly.

Brad Womack

Brad was the eleventh Bachelor in 2007. He rejected both finalists, DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft, for the first time in the show's history—and somehow got to be the Bachelor a second time.

In season 15 he proposed to Emily Maynard, but they split. According to Us Weekly, he briefly dated AshLee Frazier in 2013, who went on to be on the show’s 17th season as well as Bachelor in Paradise. As an entrepreneur, Brad's owned several bars in the Austin, Texas area. He seemingly began dating fitness guru Jena Mays around 2017, though it isn't clear if they are still together.

Byron Velvick

The sixth Bachelor in 2004, Byron dated contestant Mary Delgado for five years until they broke their engagement in December 2009, according to Us Weekly. He later married a woman named Belinda Juarez, but the pair divorced after five years together. They share a daughter named Kamber. Byron has become a fishing champion, winning several tournaments and competitions.

Charlie O'Connell

Charlie was the seventh Bachelor (he’s also the brother of actor Jerry O’Connell). He gave his final rose to Sarah Brice, and they dated on and off for years, officially breaking up in 2010. In May 2018, he married Anna Sophia Berglund, and they welcomed a daughter two years later.

Chris Soules

Chris was the 19th Bachelor in 2015. He proposed to Whitney Bischoff, but they eventually ended their engagement. He dated Bachelor franchise alum Victoria Fuller in 2020, though the two ended things later that same year. These days, he seems to be focused on working on his family farm in Iowa.

Clare Crawley

When Bachelor runner-up Clare became the 16th Bachelorette, nobody expected her to find love as quickly as she did: she left the show engaged to contestant Dale Moss after less than two weeks. Their on-again, off-again relationship ended in September 2021. She got engaged to Mascot Sports CEO Ryan Dawkins in October 2022. "He has held me in my darkness, loves me through my healing, and we now celebrate the light together! The easiest YES of my life," she wrote on Instagram.

Tayshia Adams

After Clare left at the beginning of season 16, Tayshia famously took over. She left the show engaged to Zac Clark, but the two ended things in late 2021. "All I have to say is that I'm heartbroken," she said at the time. Tayshia's since become a massive influencer, earning more than 1.5 million followers on Instagram. She co-hosted seasons 17 and 18 of The Bachelorette with Kaitlyn Bristowe, as well as podcasts Click Bait and Bachelor Happy Hour.

Desiree Hartsock (Desiree Siegfried)

As the ninth Bachelorette in 2013, Desiree accepted a proposal from Chris Siegfried. They married in January 2015, and currently live outside Seattle with their two kids. Desiree is a wedding dress designer.

In January 2023, the pair celebrated their eighth anniversary together. "8 years with you ♥️ and many more memories to make! Love who you are and the father, husband and man you continue to be. All my love, all my years!" Desiree wrote on Instagram.

Hannah Brown

Hannah was the 15th Bachelorette in 2019. She accepted a proposal from Jed Wyatt, but she called things off after learning he had a girlfriend at the time of filming. She also won Dancing With the Stars later that year. Towards the end of 2020, Hannah met her now-boyfriend Adam Woolard on a dating app.

Colton Underwood

In The Bachelor's 23rd season, Colton chose Cassie Randolph. Things quickly turned south, with Cassie filing a restraining order against him. After the order was dropped, Colton came out as gay. "I wasn’t being true to who I was, and I wasn’t in a really good place," he shared with Us Weekly. In February 2022, he announced his engagement to Jordan C. Brown.

Jake Pavelka

Jake was the 14th Bachelor in 2010. His engagement to contestant Vienna Girardi ended in an ugly breakup. After the show, he was on season 10 of Dancing With the Stars and season 2 of Bachelor Pad. Since then, he’s mostly stayed out of the limelight, but is reportedly still a pilot.

Juan Pablo Galavis

Juan Pablo was the 18th Bachelor. He gave his final rose to Nikki Ferrell, and they dated for several months before breaking up in 2014. He married Osmariel Villalobos in August 2017, but they divorced in 2019. In the years since, he has been working for RedWine Management and sharing life updates on Instagram, often featuring his teen daughter.

Matt Grant

Matt, a British financier, was the 12th Bachelor back in 2008. He proposed to Shayne Lamas, though they eventually broke up. In 2018, he married Rebecca Moring in England. He told Us Weekly, "The heavens opened on the morning of our wedding day and it was just one of those beautiful crisp winter days."

Rachel Lindsay (Rachel Lindsay Abasolo)

Rachel was the 13th Bachelorette in 2017, and married her final rose recipient Bryan Abasolo in August 2019 in Mexico. The attorney has found success as a media personality on ESPN, MTV, Extra, and more. Until 2021, she co-hosted the podcast Bachelor Happy Hour with fellow Bachelorette Becca Kufrin as well. In January 2023, Rachel guest hosted The View, leaving many fans wanting to see her become a permanent addition to the famous table.

Michelle Young

When Michelle starred in season 18 of The Bachelorette, she left happily engaged to Nayte Olukoya. Unfortunately, the pair announced their split in June 2022. To make matters worse, it later came out that he had broken up with Michelle over the phone...on her birthday weekend. But judging by that beaming smile (not to mention over 700K Insta followers), she's doing just fine!

Katie Thurston

As the 17th Bachelorette, Katie left the show engaged to Blake Moynes—but during the After the Final Rose taping, it was clear she still held a lot of feelings towards Greg Grippo for leaving before the finale. Things with Blake ended after he accused her of having an "emotional" affair with another contestant from her season, John Hersey. Katie and John broke up as well in June 2022. “[I want] someone who isn’t [intimidated] by my life or personality,” she wrote in a January 2023 Instagram Story Q&A.

Tia Booth

Tia competed for Arie's heart on season 22 of The Bachelor. She became a Bachelor Nation favorite, appearing on Bachelor in Paradise. In April 2022, she got engaged to fiancé Taylor Mock. Just months later, they welcomed son Tatum, and are currently planning a fall 2023 wedding.

Danielle Maltby

Danielle's Bachelor journey started all the way back in season 21, when she tried to win Nick Viall's heart. She returned to Bachelor in Paradise for season 4 and seemingly hit it off with Wells Adams (who is now married to actress Sarah Hyland), but quit the show for a charity work opportunity overseas. She returned to the beach five years later, and fell in love with Michael Allio. Danielle plans to move to Ohio to be closer to him and his son James.

Michael Allio

Michael first appeared on Katie Thurston's season in 2021. He made it all the way to the final four before he self-eliminated due to personal struggles (he'd lost his wife to cancer, and wasn't prepared to introduce another woman into his son's life). He found his happy ending on the beaches of Bachelor in Paradise, where he bonded with Danielle Maltby over losing a loved one.

Ashley Iaconetti (Ashley Iaconetti Haibon)

Ashley first competed on season 19 of The Bachelor. After Chris Soules sent her packing, she met Jared Haibon on Bachelor in Paradise. Ashley and Jared returned for another Paradise season the following year. After many ups and downs (and a lot of tears!), they realized their love for each another. Married in 2019, they welcomed an adorable son named Dawson in January 2022.
