Fans will soon flock to Arlington to support their World Series Champion Texas Rangers, but what about parking at Globe Life Field?

The Rangers kick off the 2024 season at home on March 28 against the Chicago Cubs. Tickets are still available for the home opener.

Despite winning the World Series last season, ESPN lists the Rangers as having the fifth best odds to win the championship behind the Los Angeles Dodgers and Houston Astros.

Getting to Globe Life Field and finding parking can be an ordeal. Here’s how to get to Rangers home games this season and where to park:

Paid parking lots at Arlington’s Globe Life Field

The Rangers have several paid parking lots available near Globe Life Field.

Prices vary for the lots based on pre-purchase and day-of purchase. The following prices are set for those who pre-purchase parking online:

  • Lot M (1205 Pennant Drive)- $20

  • Lot D (499-401 Arlington Downs Road)- $30

  • Lot V (709 Stadium Drive)- $40

The following prices are set for those paying day-of purchase parking:

What time do parking lots open at Globe Life Field?

It varies between day and night games.

Night games:

  • Lots open two and a half hours before game time and Globe Life Field entries open two hours before game time.

Day games:

  • Lots open two hours before game time and Globe Life Field entries open one and a half hours before game time.

Rideshare services to Globe Life Field

If you’re looking to skip paying for parking, rideshare may be your best bet.

The Rangers have designated a new rideshare pick up zone at Chapman Cutoff. The new zone is just a few minutes from Globe Life Field.

Uber and Lyft will be available for fans who want to leave their vehicle behind. Prices vary on service from both rideshare companies.

The Yellow Cab Co. and Cowboy Cab are two taxi companies that serve Arlington, Dallas and Tarrant County. Both companies have different rates.

Public Transportation to Globe Life Field

Arlington has a few public transportation options.

Via Rideshare is available across Arlington from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday. Rides can be ordered through the Via app or by calling 817-784-7382. Fares start at $3 and up.

The Arlington Trolley is available for fans staying at select Arlington hotels. The trolley leaves an hour before games and returns guests to hotels immediately after the game. Check with your hotel for trolley information.

The Trinity Railway Express is available every day of the week except Sunday. The TRE travels across Tarrant County and its closest stop to Globe Life Field are the Bell and CentrePort/DFW Airport stations. Plan your TRE trip online here.

While the train ride will get you close, its still about a 13-15 minute drive from either station to Globe Life Field.

Another option is from the iconic Arlington locale, J. Gilligan’s Bar and Grill. Gilligan’s offers a $12 shuttle ride from its restaurant to Globe Life Field that is about a 5-6 minute ride.
