Get Avenged Sevenfold tickets for their 'Life Is But a Dream...' tour stop in Des Moines

Have “A Little Piece of Heaven” at the Wells Fargo Arena when heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold perform in March.

The “Hail to the King” and “Bat Country” singers come to Des Moines on March 15, 2024, as part of their “Life Is But a Dream…” tour, which is also the name of their eighth studio album released last June.

The band — comprised of M. Shadows, Synyster Gates, Zacky Vengeance, Johnny Christ and Brooks Wackerman — formed more than two decades ago. Their third full-length album, “City of Evil,” made Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time in 2017. Avenged Sevenfold also received their first Grammy nomination in 2018 for Best Rock Song for “The Stage.”

The band out of Huntington Beach, California, supported Metallica as part of a concert at the Iowa Speedway in Newton in 2017.
