Jenna Ortega and Aubrey Plaza brought the dark, sarcastic humor to the Screen Actors Guild Awards stage last night, proving exactly why we love them. And now, it seems a bigger collaboration may be in the cards.

The two made a hilarious joint speech while presenting an award at the ceremony, dryly joking about their obvious, lovable similarities.

"I don't know why they paired us up together," Plaza said, frowning. "Yeah, I know, we have nothing in common," Ortega agreed, in a monotone voice.

"We should find the people who did this," Plaza said, before Ortega joined in and they recited in unison, "and curse their families, and watch as misfortune follows their bloodline for the next seven generations."

"Okay, I see it now," Plaza concluded.

At that, the SAG Awards audience erupted in laughter and applause, while Twitter filled with swarms of fans asking for the actresses to be written into a movie or show together.

Afterwards, Plaza admitted in a red-carpet interview that she'd be more than willing to work on a bigger project with Ortega.

"Oh, I'm down," Plaza told Entertainment Tonight. "We'll just kill everybody with our eyes."

Plaza is best known for her hilariously awkward, moody character April Ludgate in the sitcom Parks and Recreation. Ortega, meanwhile, gained notoriety for her recent lead role as gloomy outcast Wednesday Addams in the Netflix comedy horror show Wednesday.

So, a dark comedy collaboration be between them would no doubt be an instant hit.
