Ashley Graham Wears Couture While Swimming in a Hot Spring

Who needs a bathing suit when you can go swimming in couture?

Ashley Graham recently swapped out her swimwear for some head-to-toe high fashion looks as she shot a brand new cover for Vogue Germany's September issue.

The supermodel, 35, gave a glimpse of the shoot to her Instagram page on Tuesday, Aug. 29, showing off her glamorous dip in some scenic hot springs in Castiglione d'Orcia, near the region of Tuscany, Italy.

In one of the breathtaking pics, Graham was clad in a deep purple gown while almost completely submerged in the water. Other shots showed her posing next to a stunning waterfall and crouching down on the rocks in a red two-piece look.

"A SEPTEMBER VOGUE COVER!!" Graham beamed in her caption. "Celebrating this season's fashion in the most MAJOR way possible 🫶🏻."

"WOW, wow, wow—I can’t believe that I had the opportunity to swim in hot springs while wearing couture," she added, noting that her "skin and hair have never felt better!"

The fashion mogul then gave some more context about the gorgeous photos, noting, "This shoot fused both sides of my life: the granola and the glam."

While Graham admitted, "I’m not sure if I recommend sliding down a mountain in couture," she's still "so grateful" to have shared her story with the publication in such a radiant way.

Vogue Germany also celebrated Graham's cover by sharing more of the angelic shots on Instagram, along with some snippets from their discussion about body image.

"I was very aware that my thighs rubbed together, that my belly fat bulged over my jeans, that my arms were thicker than my friends," the outlet quotes Graham, adding that she "has never seen that as something negative—unlike the fashion industry."
