Ashland County Athlete of the Week Poll: April 29-May 4

Vote now for the candidates in the Ashland Times-Gazette Athlete of the Week poll.

The performances in the poll are from April 29 to May 4. The poll will run from 10 a.m. Monday to 10 a.m. Wednesday. Winners will be announced at the end of the week.

Athlete of the Week candidates

Alesha Felix, Loudonville softball

Loudonville's Alesha Felix.

Felix hit for the cycle in Loudonville's 31-0 away win against Crestline on Tuesday. The third baseman singled in the first inning, hit a triple in the second inning, a double in the fourth inning and connected on a grand slam in the fifth inning. Felix finished with nine RBIs, five hits and scored three runs.

Madison Rowland, New London softball

Rowland slammed three home runs, had seven RBIs, three hits and scored four runs in New London's 20-0 home win over St. Mary's Central Catholic on Tuesday.

Evan Ladina, Black River baseball

Ladina pitched a shutout in Black River's 1-0 home win past Wellington on Thursday. Ladina had 10 strikeouts, gave up four hits, zero earned runs and walked four batters in seven innings pitched.

Belle Dalton, Hillsdale softball

Dalton delivered three RBIs, two hits and scored one run in the Falcons' 12-0 away win over Rittman on Monday.

Vivian Walter, Ashland track and field

Walter won the 100 hurdles (15.82) and finished second in the 300 hurdles (50.03) at the Galion Kiwanis Invitational on Friday.
