Doorbell camera catches frantic wildfire evacuation
A Ring doorbell camera recorded residents evacuating their neighborhood in Santa Clarita, Calif., as ominous flames and smoke loom in the background.
ViralHog shared the clip, filmed on Oct. 24.
The footage shows a family loading their belongings into a car, as someone nearby warns others to start evacuating. Approximately 50,000 people were forced to evacuate in the area as the wildfires in California continue to rage.
