Farmer's Almanac predicts plenty of snow and cold for this part of the country

Updated

It’s not yet fall, but scientists at the Farmer’s Almanac have some weather predictions for this winter.

For those on the east coast, keep your Netflix close and that special someone even closer because it’s going to get cold.

The publication called this winter: the cold, the dry, and the wet and wild.

The northeast is going to be colder than normal, so enjoy the beach as much as you can.

The southeast is expected to be wetter, while things out west could be dryer.

Watch out for the area where Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma meet. That’s where things are expected to get wild.

The predictions aren’t always right and they’re also pretty vague.

For example, what does wild even mean?

Still, the forecasts have used the same formula since 1818 so that should count for something.
