Remember when Kris Bryant was a Lyft driver and no one recognized him?
A Cubs player went undercover as a Lyft driver for a day and encountered maybe some of the worst fans in Chicago. With only sunglasses covering his eyes, he was easily recognizable by even the most average of sports fans.
But, somehow, Kris Bryant went amusingly unnoticed by his customers that day:
He told one rider, "I play baseball. I'm pretty good,"
"So why aren't you in the pros then?" the customer responded. "Not to make you feel bad about it."
"I'm actually the third baseman for the Chicago Cubs," Bryant said.
Cue disbelief.
We know it's been a rough 108 years for Cubs fans in Chicago, but come on. It's Kris Bryant! We're sure no one in the city would have trouble putting the face to a name these days.
