Tim Tebow isn't ruling out a future in politics

Tim Tebow: Heisman trophy winner, broadcaster, baseball player... politician?

The well-rounded former quarterback didn't rule out the possibility when he went on "The Kelly File" with Megyn Kelly. In the video above, Tebow said that a career in politics "could be something in my future one day."

"My goal has always been to make a difference in the biggest way possible, to be able to change as many lives as possible, to be able to encourage as many lives as possible and right now I don't feel like that's in politics," Tebow said. "But if, one day, I feel like that's where I'm called to go, then that's what I'll do. I just don't know if that's the right road for me yet."

Tebow was invited to speak at the Republican National Convention over the summer, but declined the offer. "It's just disappointing that so much has to be about the negativity -- but I'm not in that world yet," he told The New Yorker.

"Yet."

Tebow doesn't have time for politics right now -- he's currently playing baseball in the Arizona Fall League for the New York Mets after a four-year career in the NFL.
