The NBA released a video that proves it's the best league in sports

The NBA and the National Basketball Players association issued a call for unity in a video released by the league on Tuesday afternoon --- and it makes a case for why the NBA could be the best league in sports.

Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade, Kyle Korver and Carmelo Anthony read a moving statement as the video shows unifying images of children playing basketball with police officers and NBA players linking arms.

Watch the video:

"In every game we play, there comes a point when we face a challenge –- a time when we have to dig in a figure it out. For each one of us, that time is now. It's time to find ways to talk to each other, to listen to each other, learn from each other, respect each other. It's time to use the game we love as a bridge so we can understand and be understood. That's what this game does. It unites us. It reminds us that no matter where we came from, no matter our differences, there's only one way to work through our challenges: Together."
