96-year-old fan ready to see Cubs in the World Series - for the 3rd time
OAK BROOK TERRACE (WGN) -- 96-year-old Phil Bouzeos was just 13 years old when he first saw the Cubs play in the World Series back in 1932. Thirteen years later, he would watch the Cubs play in another World Series in 1945.
Bouzeos would go on to serve in the U.S. Army, graduate from Carroll College, and married his wife Lynn in 1954. He spent his entire life surrounded by sports, working first as the equipment manager for the former Chicago Cardinals, then 40 years with Champion Sports before retiring in 1997.

Bouzeos says even having seen two Cubs World Series, there's something very special about the 2016 Chicago Cubs. Still, he plans to watch the World Series with his wife while sitting in his favorite chair at home, unless of course he gets a ticket to what would be his third Cubs' World Series.
