National Fail League: The biggest flops from Week 4

Another NFL Sunday is in the books. And while plenty of teams had reason to celebrate, there were just as many people around football that would love a mulligan.

By now, you've seen the highlights. But here's where you'll find the lowlights -- one last look back at the week's biggest fails before we turn the page to Week 5.

So without further ado: Welcome to the National Fail League, Week 4 edition.

Jerry Jones

The Cowboys enjoyed a third consecutive win on Sunday in San Francisco, and during the game team owner Jerry Jones was gracious enough to make his way over to some Dallas fans calling him over to autograph an item. Only problem? That item was a football helmet, which is very hard and causes pain when thrown at people.

Hey, Cowboys fans: If the owner is nice enough to sign something for you, maybe don't pelt him in the head with a football helmet.

All Lives Matter Gorilla

Sunday's Bears game at Solider Field was interrupted by some sort of activist donning a gorilla costume and a t-shirt that read "All Lives Matter" on the front and "Put the guns down" on the back.

The clumsy gorilla took a spill while running toward the Lions' sideline, though, and was apprehended by a team of security right then and there.

Brian Winters

The Jets suffered a disappointing loss against Seattle at home to fall to 1-3, but even more embarrassing was the injury added to insult by New York offensive lineman Brian Winters.

While trailing, Winters took it upon himself deliberately head-butt Seattle defensive lineman Michael Bennett -- but wound up concussing himself in the process.

You're already painfully aware if this applies to you, but those who faced Julio Jones in fantasy football this week -- well, if it's not a PPR league, be thankful. In full-point PPR scoring, Jones logged 48 fantasy points in most leagues -- 36 points in standard scoring.

At least he only scored one touchdown to go with his 300 yards?

Jacoby Brissett

Jacoby Brissett manned the controls for New England during the last game of Tom Brady's suspension, and despite playing well in Week 3's Thursday Night Football win over Houston, this one was a performance to forget.

Most notably, while in the red zone trying to cut the deficit in half before the end of the second quarter, Brissett ran straight up into a Buffalo linebacker, dropping the ball and killing any chance of a rally. New England wouldn't score a point the rest of the way.
