Volleyball star April Ross discusses Rio, Tokyo 2020, sunglasses and more

As someone who plays volleyball in the sun for a living, Olympic star player April Ross knows the cumulative, often irreversible dangers of ultraviolet rays first-hand.

After coming home with a Bronze medal in Rio, Ross is joining forces with Essilor's signature brand Xperio UV polarized sun lenses to raise awareness about how UV damage can result in premature signs of aging, skin cancer, eye disease, wrinkles, and dark circles.

In an interview with AOL.com, she also discussed the past Summer Olympics, how she's turned her focus to Tokyo 2020, and much more.
