ESPN fantasy football crashed and the internet had a meltdown

The enthusiasm for the first NFL Sunday has quickly subsided and football fans are outraged.

Some would argue that their fantasy team is the most important element to football season, but in a nightmarish opening weekend, ESPN's Fantasy Football app crashed on Sunday afternoon just when the early games were kicking off.

But fans were unforgiving and spent the entire afternoon letting Twitter know it.

Someone even created the crash its own Twitter account:
