It was an exciting week in the world of sports as NFL football finally returned to our lives -- in Thursday night's Super Bowl 50 rematch, Denver once again came out on top over Cam Newton and the Panthers.

Elsewhere, the U.S. Open was full of long matches and upsets, and we saw Serena Williams get knocked out of the competition in the semifinals. The baseball season is also nearing a close, and the push for the playoffs is heating up, especially for teams in the hunt for a Wild Card spot.

For anyone missing Olympic action, the Paralympics also began this week, with an Opening Ceremony for the ages.
