Watch the dad of a Pirates pitcher get emotional after his son's MLB debut

Grab the tissues.

Pitcher Trevor Williams was called up to the Pirates this week and capped off his MLB debut on Wednesday with a win against the Cardinals.

Following the game, the 24-year-old approached the crowd to hug his wife and baby. But off to the side, a man was watching and sobbing from a few feet away. It was Williams' dad -– and he couldn't contain his proud emotions as a father.

Moments later, Trevor handed the game ball to his dad and the men embraced.

"Does it get any better than this?" the Pirates asked on Twitter.

No, it doesn't.
