Social Media Helps Family Reunite With Dog Who Was Missing For Months

If you want proof of the power of Twitter, look no further than Sacramento Kings shooting guard Ben McLemore. A few days ago, he sent out several tweets saying that his dog, Rolex (which, first of all, that's a great name for a dog from someone who can actually afford a Rolex), was missing.

Anyone who's ever owned a dog can relate to McLemore's worries in this situation, but he has something most people don't have: a huge platform to ask for help finding him. He has more than 100,000 followers on Twitter, many of whom are in the Sacramento area, which is pretty convenient when you're looking for a lost dog and need to get the word out to as many people as possible. Fortunately, a couple of fans found Rolex and gave this story a happy ending.

No word yet on what sort of reward the fans got for finding McLemore's dog. Usually, a reward for this sort of thing is a small amount of money, but when the dog's owner is an NBA player, it could mean tickets to a Kings game, or a signed jersey, or something else a little cooler. Either way, the important thing is that McLemore got his dog back.
