Mike Trout made this young fan cry tears of joy with a simple autograph

Baseball players signing autographs for fans before a game is nothing unusual. Usually, when a player has free time between batting practice and the start of the game, he'll do a lap around the infield and show some love to the fans – they'll sign autographs, they'll take pictures, things of that nature. For players, this probably isn't anything wild, because it kind of gets to be second nature after they do it so much.

But for fans, this is huge. Especially if you're a fan of a team and you live in the city that has a different team in it. Let's say you're a huge Angels fan, but you live in, oh, Detroit. You're not going to get the chance to see a guy like Mike Trout every day, so when he comes to the Motor City, it's a big deal.

That's exactly what happened on Sunday, as the Angels visited the Tigers andMike Trout went around signing stuff for fans before the game. One young fan was decked out in Angels gear and made it a point to seek out Trout for an autograph. Trump obliged, and the fan reacted to the John Hancock like it was the best thing to ever happen to him.

This was probably just another signature for Trout, but it's awesome to see how much this impacted the fan. It's a fun reminder of how much a gesture so simple can mean everything to a kid.
