Tim Tebow Attempting Baseball Career

Say what you will about Tim Tebow, but one thing you can't claim is that he isn't a smart businessman. Tebow's dream of a professional baseball career is barely a week old, and he is already out there selling signed Tebow baseballs and bats through TD Autographs.

ESPN business reporter Darren Rovell tweeted that Tebow's signed baseballs are going for $125 a pop, with a signed bat costing you an extra $50.

As someone who attended Jets training camp during Tebow's one season in Cortland, I can attest that people really want Tim Tebow's autograph for whatever reason. I specifically recall people trying to get everything from a bra to a Bible signed by him during a random Jets practice, so I imagine he probably will do pretty well in the signed baseball department.

Tebow probably will never make it to the major leagues, but he'll assuredly be signed by some minor-league club looking to sell tickets, and if it doesn't work out for him, he can just go back to his broadcasting career. In the meantime, some poor suckers are going to pay $125 for a signed baseball of a guy who hasn't played the sport since high school.
