Russell Wilson has a touching message about changing 'one kid at a time, one heart at a time'
Russell Wilson's sports successes undeniably have been historic within the NFL as the quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks.
He lives his life as a mission, in his words, and part of that mission is, "to empower change in the world, one individual at a time, specifically with children. Often, we think about the big picture, if we can change one kid at a time, one heart at a time, soul at time, it's the snowball effect."

Wilson launched his foundation, WHY NOT YOU, as a vehicle for this snowball effect message. He works to empower and prepare youth to be leaders and he makes weekly -- if not bi-weekly -- visits to Seattle's Children's Hospital and pediatric care unit.
Russell sat down with Maria Shriver for her Architects for Change web-series and talked about this philosophy and some of the touching stories he has encountered.
