UPDATE 2: While USA Basketball isn't fully aware of Draymond's arrest, we ponder if this could get him booted from the team headed to Rio.

UPDATE 3: The Warriors have released a statement saying they are aware of the situation and aren't commenting further until they have more information.

The NBA offseason is just beginning but already it has created some problems for the Golden State Warriors. They landed Kevin Durant in a massive surprise, but they might have some issues with one of their other stars not he roster.

According to MLive, the Warriors star Draymond Green was arrested in East Lansing for alleged assault.

Right now the details are sketchy at best but it's not looking pretty for the Warriors star if this ends up being something that turns out to be as bad as it could be.

Here's what we know:

"The police department is not confirming any arrest with that name," said Lt. Scott Wrigglesworth, the East Lansing police department Public Information Officer. "What I can confirm is that we did arrest a current NBA basketball player this weekend and he was arrested for assault. That's all we're confirming right now."

We saw Green get a little testy on the court but we all set that aside as nothing more than his shooting style or the way that he plays. There might not be a correlation between Draymond getting frustrating and kicking players in the gonads and his alleged assault in East Lansing, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that there might be more dots to connect than we're willing to admit.
