Overachiever runs entire marathon in driveway: 'I would literally go insane'
Quarantine is expected to make people go a little crazy and try to find something to occupy their seemingly limitless free time.
Some have picked up baking sourdough bread, others have invested more time into their skincare and one person has seemingly completely lost their mind and ran an entire marathon in their driveway.
Someone in my running group ran a marathon in his driveway. All 26.2. I would literally go insane. pic.twitter.com/67a8L88zeN

Let's get a couple of things straight: A marathon is 26.2 miles. The average length of a driveway is 18 to 20 feet (for reference, one mile is 5,280 feet). For a decent runner (with a 10-minute mile), the average time to finish a marathon is between 4.5 hours and 5 hours.
Some questions for the runner: Did he plan to run the marathon or did his daily run just get the best of him? Did he know what he was getting himself into? Was he running in circles or zigzags? What happened at these two random points?
Are runners okay?
A guy in my neighborhood just ran 262 miles in a loop over 63 hours

I ran 5 miles in my back yard at 11PM last night. I discovered that it takes 49 trips around the circumference of my yard to run a mile. I’ve already gone insane. Otherwise I wouldn’t have done that. I assume that your running group friend has as well
