Los Angeles police shared a 26-second witness video of the Monday incident on Twitter that shows a driver in a BMW sedan ramming into and then trailing a pickup truck in North Hollywood. The BMW's door on the driver's side was open during the tire-squealing altercation.
The BMW driver, David Zulalyan, 27, was arrested on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, a police department spokesman told NBC News Wednesday. His bail was set at $30,000 and he was released Tuesday.
Zulalyan is next due in court on March 24, according to jail records.
It was not immediately clear if Zulalyan has a lawyer.
