Mike Tomlin refuses to comment on Garrett, Rudolph brawl: 'You guys saw what happened'

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin was asked about the brawl between his quarterback, Mason Rudolph, and Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett on Thursday night — but unlike Garrett and Rudolph, Tomlin refused to comment.

Just before the final whistle during the matchup between the Steelers and Browns, Garrett sacked Rudolph and proceeded to rip the quarterback's helmet off. While multiple Pittsburgh players attempted to move Garrett away, he swung the helmet at Rudolph, hitting him in the head.

"I'll keep my thoughts to myself," Tomlin said during his postgame press conference. "You guys saw what happened at the end."

When pressed further to provide a response, Tomlin appeared to grow agitated with the reporters in the room and insisted that he had no comment on the matter before cutting off any additional questions related to the fight.

Conversely, Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens provided a lengthy statement about the fight, saying both he and Garrett were "embarrassed" and that the events of Thursday's game did not reflect the type of team Cleveland hopes to be.

Garrett has since been suspended indefinitely by the NFL. Both the Browns and Steelers face fines of $250K.
