Real-life 'Spider-Woman' smashes speed climbing record

Aries Susanti Rahayu broke the women's speed climbing world record this past weekend during the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC)'s Climbing World Cup in China.

The In The Know clip above showcases her incredible feat.

Rahayu completed the 49-foot course in 6.995 seconds — beating out her challenger, Song Yiling, who set the previous record in April by finishing the course in 7.101 seconds.

To understand how fast Rahayu is climbing, it would be the equivalent of her running a 5K in 39 minutes while doing pull-ups.
