Former Obama national security adviser Susan Rice has called President Trump out for giving her a “gross” hug after he attacked her for speaking out about the country’s current foreign policy positions.
“Susan Rice, who was a disaster to President Obama as National Security Advisor, is now telling us her opinion on what to do in Syria,” Trump tweeted Friday. “Remember RED LINE IN THE SAND? That was Obama. Millions killed! No thanks Susan, you were a disaster.”
Rice fired back on Twitter: “Then why did you come up and hug me at 2015 WHCD when I’d never met you (which was totally gross) and whisper in my ear that I had been ‘very unfairly treated’ over Benghazi and ‘was doing a great job for the country’?”
According to Deadline, Trump likely tweeted his displeasure after watching Rice’s interview on HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher” Friday evening.
During the conversation, she criticized the current administration’s foreign policies and pointed out the threat of domestic political divisions.
