Bears enjoy a dip in a Colorado swimming pool

Two bears were caught on video on Oct. 9 beating the Colorado heat by taking a dip in a residential pool. The Yahoo Now video above features the adorable footage.

According to a Colorado Parks and Wildlife press release, bear-related incidents are expected to be on the rise over the course of October, as this time period is when bears typically spend up to 20 hours a day out and about and eating as much as 20,000 calories as they prepare for hibernation.

Hibernation lasts between November and April.

The Boulder Police Department tweeted the video and said: "Don’t feel too bad that you didn't get an invite, we didn’t get invited either."
