Oakland Raiders set to travel the most this NFL season

As if things weren't difficult enough for the Oakland Raiders right now, it turns out the rest of season may not be much easier.

NFL.com did the math and revealed that the Raiders are the team that has to travel the most during the 2019 season. The team will log a total of 40,188 miles over the next 17 weeks.

League executives had previously admitted that they made a mistake with Oakland's scheduling, especially regarding a trip to London where the Raiders will play as the "home" team. The team won't host a game at its own stadium from September 22 to November 3.

NFL analysts ranked Oakland's 2019 schedule as one of the most difficult due to that six-week, travel-heavy stretch.

The Los Angeles Rams will be logging the second-most miles, with 36,186 — just about one flight to London less than the Raiders.

The New York Jets will do the least amount of traveling, with under 8,000 miles planned.
