Super Bowl LIV odds: Just ahead of season opener, sportsbooks say bank on a repeat

Tom Brady is on a quest to reach hallowed ground not touched by any other man in NFL history: a seventh Super Bowl victory.

The New England Patriots quarterback already holds the record for most Super Bowl appearances (9) and wins (6), and he'll begin his quest for lucky ring No. 7 on Sunday when his Patriots are visited by the Pittsburgh Steelers for their Week 1 matchup.

According to severalsportsbooks, New England's title defense will be fruitful – and Brady will get yet another ring.

While the Patriots do have the best odds of winning Super Bowl LIV, they aren't at the top by much. According to sportsbook.ag, specifically, the Kansas City Chiefs are just barely behind New England, with three NFC teams right on their tail, as well.

Even the Cleveland Browns, who went 0-16 just two seasons ago but have made impressive moves since, are in the running for the Lombardi Trophy.
