Kyler Murray can't stop laughing at reporter's question ahead of preseason opener

Arizona Cardinals rookie quarterback Kyler Murray is preparing for his first taste of NFL action as the preseason kicks off on Thursday night.

All eyes will be on the 2019 No. 1 overall draft pick, as well as new head coach Kliff Kingsbury, when the Cardinals take on the Los Angeles Chargers.

Murray addressed the media from training camp just ahead of his NFL preseason debut to discuss his excitement to "play actual football again" — but there was one question that had the young star cracking up.

When asked if there was any part of him that was looking forward to getting hit, Murray chuckled and shook his head.

"I hope I don't get hit," he managed to say before bursting into laughter again.

The two-sport athlete ultimately spurned the MLB and the Oakland Athletics to sign a four-year deal with Arizona. Murray, the 2019 Heisman Trophy winner, is replacing quarterback Josh Rosen, who the Cardinals selected 10th overall in 2018 in the NFL draft but traded to the Miami Dolphins this offseason.
