Le'Veon Bell apologizes to fantasy football owners on Instagram: 'I'm sorry I couldn't pull through'

Le'Veon Bell doesn't regret sitting out the entire 2018 NFL season, but there is one group of people he wants to apologize to.

No, it's not his teammates or coaches from the Pittsburgh Steelers, who raided his locker and called his holdout a "distraction." It's not Steelers fans or NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

Bell wants to apologize to fantasy football owners.

The star running back took to Instagram on Monday to address the fantasy team owners who drafted him last season – a season during which he didn't play a single minute.

In the message Bell called "loooong overdue," he apologized that he couldn't "pull through" and promised that the upcoming season would be "wayyyy different."

The official New York Jets Instagram supported Bell's sentiment:

Bell's holdout may not have paid off in fantasy football, but in real-life football, he seems to have gotten what he wanted. Here's hoping those who draft him online this season do, too.
