Ravens rookie Marquise Brown wants to make his own mark outside of cousin Antonio's shadow

There have been plenty of superstar relatives throughout the history of the NFL. The Manning brothers (plus dad Archie), Watt brothers and Bosa brothers are among the most recognizable families who have seen success in professional football.

Now, Marquise Brown, the Baltimore Ravens rookie and cousin of Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown, is hoping to cement his place in the history books as well.

Brown, nicknamed "Hollywood," was selected 25th overall by the Ravens in the 2019 NFL draft. The wide receiver, who many considered to be too short at 5-foot-10, instantly became emotional about his selection and revealed the advice that older cousin Antonio had given to him.

"It's pretty crazy to me," Brown later told former NFL star Steve Smith Sr. about watching Antonio play for the Pittsburgh Steelers. "He was always out there dominating."

Brown surely learned a lot about football and the NFL from his cousin, but now that they're both in the league, Hollywood hopes to make a name for himself outside of who he's related to.

"I don't want to say I'm chasing what [Antonio] did, but I gotta go out there and make my mark as my own person," he said.

Family is clearly a priority to Brown, who also says that his mother, Shannon, is his hero. Watch the video above to hear more of his comments about his mom and what he's learned from cousin Antonio.
