Driver uses windshield wiper to fling snake off car in viral video

A video showing a Kansas driver using his windshield wiper to get a slithering snake off his car has gone viral.

The 52-second footage, which WJLA shared on Facebook on Thursday, shows a long snake crawling across the vehicle's right passenger window as the car is moving. The serpent then makes its way towards the front of the car before the driver uses his windshield wiper to fling it off the window.

As of Saturday afternoon, the video has gotten more than 2 million views and generated over thousand comments.

"Thank goodness the window wasn’t down for it to climb in," one person wrote.

"I would have crashed my car just to kill that snake!" another added. "Thank God I live in Michigan. Less likely to happen up here!!"
