Wimbledon officially kicks off on Monday, July 1 and the top women of the tennis world are prepared to land in London hungry for the coveted title of Wimbledon champion.

To play in the tournament in any capacity is a highly-held honor, but to be ranked as one of frontrunners to take home the top title is another accomplishment in and of itself.

It's no surprise that Serena Williams is seeded as a favorite to win Wimbledon, but even with a whopping seven Wimbledon titles to her name, there are still two powerhouse players that have a pretty solid forehand shot at beating her to it.
