San Francisco Giants players recreate iconic 'Friends' theme song ahead of show's 25th anniversary

If it hasn't been your day, your week, your month, or even your year ... the San Francisco Giants will be there for you.

The team released a video on Thursday of several star players frolicking around a familiar location for fans of the classic 90's sitcom "Friends."

The scene features shortstop Brandon Crawford, second baseman Joe Panik and pitcher Will Smith dancing and splashing their way around the iconic fountain, couch and lamppost from the show's famous intro. The players are joined by Crawford and Panik's wives, Jalyne and Brittany, as well as Smith's girlfriend, Taylor Dunagan.

The video is promoting "Friends Day" at Oracle Park on August 5, just ahead of the hit show's 25th anniversary in September.

Fans who attend the special event in August will receive a unique, Central Perk-inspired coffee mug, and a VIP experience will be held for the true die-hards to take photos on the couch and visit a Central Perk pop-up.

As of right now, tickets for the game start as low as $6. Fans can visit www.sfgiants.com/specialevents to learn more about the promotion.
