Large rat drops from ceiling onto woman's menu at Buffalo Wild Wings

A woman who wanted to enjoy some chicken at Buffalo Wild Wings got a surprise when a huge rat dropped from the ceiling and onto her menu, KNBC reports.

Alisha Norman was at the restaurant's Westchester location in Los Angeles when the incident happened.

"You could hear something come down," she told the station.

Norman, who was on vacation from Texas, said she had not even ordered yet when the rodent fell onto her table.

"I knew the rat was going to be injured because it hit like a Mack truck," she said.

A manager reportedly came over to the woman's table with two plates to help get rid of rat, which he claimed must have come from a nearby construction site.

"He took two plates and then they just picked it up and dumped it in a bag," Norman said. "It was terrible. It was disgusting."

Still, the episode didn't deter her from staying. Norman said she wasn't angry and that the manager even took care of her bill as a result of the inconvenience.

The restaurant did not return the station's request for comment.
