Trump hits pause on ICE raid targeting undocumented families
President Donald Trump announced Saturday over Twitter that he will delay a plan for Immigration and Customs Enforcement to raid the homes of undocumented immigrants in several major U.S. cities.
The delay, Trump claimed, will allow time for Republicans and Democrats to reach a consensus on how to manage the number of people attempting to cross the southern border and request asylum.

ICE would have targeted 2,000 families who had received deportation orders in Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago and Houston, among other cities, according to The Washington Post.
At the request of Democrats, I have delayed the Illegal Immigration Removal Process (Deportation) for two weeks to see if the Democrats and Republicans can get together and work out a solution to the Asylum and Loophole problems at the Southern Border. If not, Deportations start!
