Betting odds, post positions for 2019 Preakness Stakes revealed

Updated

There are several familiar names competing in Saturday's Preakness Stakes, but it will be a completely different race than the Kentucky Derby.

Derby winner Country House and disqualified Derby winner Maximum Security are both sitting out the Preakness, meaning a Triple Crown sweep is out of the question for 2019. However, horses including Improbable, War of Will and Win Win Win who raced at Churchill Downs will all be running at Pimlico Race Course, as well.

The Preakness is shorter and thus faster than the Kentucky Derby, making it a prime race for surprises. If the controversial Derby finish two weeks ago was any indication, fans are surely in for an exciting running on Saturday.
