Hillary Clinton gives dramatic reading of Mueller report's greatest hit

Ever wonder what Hillary Clinton would sound like imitating Donald Trump? Now you can hear for yourself.

In a video promoting Comedy Central’s upcoming show starring comedian Jordan Klepper, the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee performs a dramatic reading of excerpts from special counsel Robert Mueller’s 448-page report, including the crucial moment when Trump first learned about Mueller’s appointment.

During the segment, Klepper pointed out a section for Clinton to read. “The investigation established that the Russian government perceived that it would benefit from a Trump presidency,” the former first lady and secretary of state began.

Klepper, seated between Hillary and Bill Clinton, interrupted to offer “a couple notes” as the former president looks on.

“Secretary Clinton, feel it. Feel it,” Klepper says. “Imagine, like, you have a history with this.”

She, of course, does: Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton by capturing the Electoral College 304 to 227. Clinton, however, won the popular vote by almost 2.9 million votes.

Dropping her voice, Clinton went on to read the most widely quoted passage in the report, describing Trump’s reaction to the appointment of Mueller.

“The president slumped back in his chair and said, ‘Oh, my God. This is terrible. This is the end of my presidency. I’m f***ed,’” Clinton intones.

Last week, Clinton said the Mueller report proved that Russian meddling “certainly had an impact” on the election, although she stopped short of saying it was responsible for her loss.

On Monday, Clinton thanked Klepper for the opportunity.

"This was... cathartic," she tweeted. "Thank you, @jordanklepper!"
