Twitter united in joy as Tiger wins Masters

It finally happened. After a fall from grace, many surgeries and even more question marks, Tiger Woods is a champion at Augusta National again. The fifth green jacket just might prove to be the toughest — if not the most meaningful — he’s ever won.

Twitter wasn’t around in 2005, the last time Woods won at The Masters, but thankfully for us all, Tiger gave the world a glimpse at how united sports fans would’ve been if social media were around in his heyday.

As Woods clinched another major title, Twitter was giving a rare standing ovation.
