Jeanine Pirro cancels appearance on 'Hannity' show

Judge Jeanine Pirro’s slated appearance on Friday night’s “The Sean Hannity Show” was cancelled due to a “serious family emergency.”

Pirro’s Fox News show “Justice With Judge Jeanine” hasn’t aired since March 9, when she suggested on air that Rep. Ilhan Omar may not fully support the United States Constitution because she is a Muslim. The scheduled appearance on Hannity’s show would have been her return to the network.

At the end of Hannity’s show Friday night, he said, “Before I go, I had promoted yesterday and on my radio show today that Judge Jeanine Pirro would be joining us tonight on the program.”

He added, “She had a really serious family emergency come up, couldn’t be with us. I don’t know the nature of it. We always pray for her.”

Although “Justice With Judge Jeanine” is back on Fox’s schedule in its regular 9 p.m. time slot Saturday night after the two-week absence, it is still unclear if the family emergency will postpone her return.

A Fox News spokesperson didn’t immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for additional information or comment.
