Trump weighs in on 2020, says he’s dreaming about Beto O’Rourke

President Trump recently weighed in on the possibility of running against Democrat Beto O’Rourke in 2020.

When the topic was raised during an interview with Fox Business Network’s Maria Bartiromo that aired on Friday, Trump replied: “My attitude is, I wouldn’t mind.”

“I’d love to have [Joe] Biden. I’d love to have Bernie [Sanders], I’d love to have Beto [O’Rourke]. I mean, Beto seems to be the one the press has chosen,” the president further noted

“When I watch Beto, I say we could dream about that,” Trump also commented.

O’Rourke announced his run into the 2020 presidential race on March 14 and went on to have a record-setting first day of fundraising.

According to the Washington Examiner, “O’Rourke trails former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., in the latest polls among Democrats.”
