LeBron James goes full dad mode by wearing shirt with son's face on it

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is a proud papa. At Monday’s shootaround, James made sure to give his son Bronny a shout out by wearing a shirt with Bronny’s face on it.

The shirt featured an image of Bronny James going to the basket for a dunk. It was a similar style to the NBA shirts from the ‘90s that features caricatures of players with heads larger than their bodies.

The 34-year-old James has always shown his support for his kids. James routinely attends both Bronny and Bryce James’ basketball games to cheer them on. The feeling is mutual, as both Bronny and Bryce honor their dad by wearing No. 23 and No. 6.

James has even expressed a desire to play on the same team as Bronny if Bronny is good enough to play in the NBA. That would be a tough task on both ends. Bronny still has to prove himself at the upper levels of the game while LeBron would need to remain healthy and effective for at least 5-6 more seasons.

Because of that, though, many fans have joked that the Bronny shirt could be considered another form of tampering by James.

For now, we’ll assume NBA commissioner Adam Silver will look the other way. But if Bronny James becomes a legitimate NBA prospect in a few years, LeBron may have to be a little more secretive about openly promoting his kid’s basketball career.
