Patriots players grace the stage, red carpet at Grammy Awards

These Super Bowl champs can now add "award show presenter" to their already stacked résumés.

New England Patriots stars Devin McCourty and Julian Edelman were at the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday night, one week after their Super Bowl LIII win, to announce the winner of the "Best Pop/Group Performance" award. The two athletes presented the award to Lady Gaga, who won the honor alongside Bradley Cooper for their song "Shallow" from their film, "A Star Is Born."

Cooper was unable to attend the event, but the stage was packed with star power even without him there.

Prior to the show, a freshly shaven Edelman appeared on the red carpet alongside Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, who was sporting a bleached-blond mustache.

McCourty and his twin brother and Patriots teammate, Jason, also had the pleasure of meeting former first lady Michelle Obama backstage. The twins posted a photo to their joint Twitter account, saying they were "star struck."

Sunday's Grammys weren't Edelman's first foray into award shows. He and former teammate Malcolm Butler attended the Grammys in 2015 after their victory over the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX.
