New video shows Bill Belichick getting upset about Super Bowl roof

Updated

New England Patriots’ head coach Bill Belichick was not a fan of what was happening with the Mercedes-Benz Stadium roof prior to kickoff against the Los Angeles Rams at the Super Bowl on Sunday night.

The NFL made a big deal of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium roof during Sunday night’s Super Bowl.

The league clearly wanted to show off some of the stadium’s cool features, which includes a retractable roof. The roof was opened up before the game and put on a bit of a light show. Then, right at kickoff, the roof closed.

Belichick wasn’t happy with this.

The Patriots’ head coach was spotted talking to an NFL official prior to kickoff, complaining about the NFL’s plans for the roof.

Check it out:

The roof was clearly annoying Belichick prior to the game, but it didn’t seem to bother New England during the contest.

The Patriots went on to beat the Rams 13-3 in the Super Bowl on Sunday night, giving Belichick and his star quarterback Tom Brady their sixth NFL championship together.
