Disgruntled construction worker gets revenge by destroying hotel

A construction worker who helped build a Travelodge in Liverpool decided that he had had enough of his awful treatment by the hotel staff.

Claiming that he was owed $775 that they had yet to pay, he took matters into his own hands and used a tractor to bulldoze the building. Videos of the incident have gone viral and show an escalator approaching a window before clawing its way into the building, destroying everything in its path. According to police reports, the mayhem continued for around 30 minutes and succeeded in turning the lobby to smithereens.

Throughout the video, the construction worker can be heard screaming obscenities before he decides he has made his point and flees.

"There were loads of workers outside all gobsmacked, jaws to the floor wondering what's going on," Samual White, a worker on the project, told NBC News. "The site manager was running around like a headless chicken — he wasn't happy at all."

A GoFundMe page has reportedly been set up for the angry man and has raised nearly $4,800.
